Our mission is to foster healthy
relationships and provide children
and families with the support they need to
thrive as a family unit—
through resources, mentorship, arts-based
programs, advocacy for special needs,
and compassionate outreach to those
facing homelessness.
Our vision is to bridge the gap for children
and their families
struggling and needing support to keep
their family together,
while addressing the unique needs of those
with special needs,
providing access to the arts as a source of
healing and growth,
and offering hope to those experiencing
homelessness.
About Us
Rivers in the Desert, Inc. is a community-centered nonprofit dedicated to supporting children, youth, and families through mentorship, creative programming, and relationship-based support. We believe hope and healing can grow even in life’s most challenging seasons.
We partner with local schools and families to provide mentorship, social-emotional learning support, and family engagement initiatives that strengthen confidence, resilience, and healthy relationships—helping individuals and families move forward with purpose.
